Spot Tracker

Yesterday Amazon announcedAmazon EC2 Spot Instances. From their announcement:


Spot Instances are a new way to purchase and consume Amazon EC2 Instances by allowing you to bid on unused Amazon EC2 capacity and run those instances for as long as your bid exceeds the current Spot Price.


Basically it’s “Pay what you want” or “Name Your own price” for Cloud Computing.

Anyhoo, that gave me the idea to throw together this dashboard to track the Spot Prices. Here is a link. Let me know what you think.
